How does VAT Exemption work at Countrywide Mobility?
A number of Countrywide Mobility’s products can have VAT Exemption applied, on the basis of disability. If you think you are eligible for VAT Exemption, the process of applying for it varies based on your history with our shop.countrywidemobility.co.uk store:
1. I’m a new customer
If you haven’t purchased from us before – or don’t have an account with us – you will be instructed to fill in a VAT Exemption Relief form as part of the checkout process (alternatively, you may create an account and fill the form out by clicking here >).
Once you have filled in the form, it will be sent to us for review. You can continue to checkout in the meantime. If you are eligible for VAT Exemption on the products you have applied for we will record your submission and process the order. If you are not eligible for some, or all, of the VAT Relief you have applied for we will get in touch to discuss your options – if we cannot get in touch with you to discuss your order, your order will be refunded and cancelled.
2. I’m a returning customer, with a previous VAT Relief form submission
For future purchases, you won’t need to fill in a VAT Relief form again – we will have recorded your input and will apply any suitable exemptions going forward.
3. I’m a returning customer, WITHOUT a previous VAT Relief form submission
Whenever you next come to purchase a product with VAT Exemption requested, you will be directed to fill out a VAT Relief form as part of the checkout process.
